impressive stay but needs improvement in breakfast options

The vast property impressed us with its beauty and many leisure choices. The king bed made our night exceptionally comfortable, contributing to a lovely film night experience.

The breakfast options were underwhelming for a place of this standard.

we had a great stay during our summer holiday. the staff were super friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. the spacious king room had stunning views of the gardens and countryside, making our time there extra special.

air conditioning wasn't effective

The hotel is stunning with breathtaking grounds, making it perfect for family photos. The staff truly went above and beyond, especially when accommodating our last-minute requests. I particularly loved the cozy bar area where we enjoyed quiet evenings after a day of exploring with the kiddo.

My kids wished there were more activities for younger children. A play area would be a fantastic improvement for families. It would help keep them entertained while we unwind.

Lovely garden views and a spacious room. Breakfast quality could improve—items often ran out quickly.

The swimming pool was really nice, and I loved the vibe of the gardens. Plus, getting upgraded to an exec suite was a fantastic surprise, offering beautiful views! The whole setup felt safe and thought-out, which gave me a lot of comfort during my stay.

Not for everyone, but it works

The room was a surprise upgrade to a king bed-most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. We enjoyed a cinematic experience with a large flat screen connected to our own device, perfect for a movie night after a long day.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but it met expectations.

I loved the freshly cooked meals, particularly the hearty pork dish and the delicious strawberry cheesecake. the breakfast options were amazing, though the coffee took a while. I'd definitely return!

We enjoyed a memorable stay with a delicious dinner featuring freshly prepared meals. The staff exceeded expectations, especially with the warm welcome and thoughtful touches like mini cakes. The grounds are stunning, and the view, although not the best, was very quiet.

Had an amazing time with my fam! The room had fab views and a nice big balcony. The staff were super friendly, and the breakfast buffet was pretty extensive. Only thing was the bathroom could use a little bit more light, but it was still nice. a great stay!

Comfortable room, beautiful restaurant, providing stunning views of the countryside outside and an excellent breakfast that had plenty of options, all while being just a short train ride from Oxenholme The Lake District station.

All was wonderful.

our stay at castle green was really nice. the staff were so lovely and went above and beyond to help us. on our last day, we managed to snag spa treatments last minute, which was a perfect way to unwind. plus, the fitness club had everything we needed to stay active during our trip.
